The CATTELAN ITALIA Company was founded by Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan in 1979.
The company started off producing small marble products and tables of various dimensions that were intended for export. In 1989 the product line was expanded to include dining tables, chairs and bookcases. The manufacturing process incorporated various materials: wood, glass, metal and leather. All products focused primarily on style and comfort. In 1995, sons Lorenzo and Paolo Cattelan joined the family business.
In 2011 the company acquired ARKETIPO, a well known company based in Florence. This significantly strengthened the market position of CATTELAN ITALIA as a producer of upholstered designer furniture. Today, the company exports products to 150 countries all over the world and has over 350 branch offices.
Each year, the company takes part in the largest international trade shows in Milan, Cologne, Paris, Valencia and Moscow.
